Besakih Temple

For the Balinese, visiting the temple sanctuaries of Besakih is a special pilgrimage. Mount Agung’s position gives it an almost mystical quality. Several stairs lead up to the sacred mountainside, leading to temples that vary by type, status, and function.

Tirta Gangga

This water palace literally translates to “Water of the Ganges,” Hinduism’s holy river, and is a well-known place of reverence for Hindus. The mystical gardens also attract many travelers for their incredible maze of pools and fountains. This is a perfect spot to visit if you are looking for a memorable dive into the history of Bali, as well as enjoying the incredible surroundings of the spectacular Tirtagangga Water Temple.

Lempuyang

Lempuyang Temple or Lempuyang Luhur Temple in Karangasem is one of Sad Kahyangan Temples in Bali. In addition, this temple also has many interesting spots to pose, one of which is in the gate or tourists often call it as Gate to Heaven Bali.

Virgin Beach

It was a lovely place to sit for an hour or so — so much more scenic than most other beaches I’ve been to in Bali. In fact, after recently visiting most areas of Bali I’m going to declare this is the best beach on the island — certainly my favourite anyway!
